Welcome! I’m Dylan. I work with a basic and fundamental trust that our bodies are wise, dynamic, and constantly working for balance and fulfillment. If we learn to get out of our own way, we can process what needs to be processed and move towards a life of satisfaction and fulfillment.

Often what is lacking in finding our own strength to heal and be well is 1) trust in the body 2) energy 3) attention.

I support people in regaining trust in themselves by teaching them how to feel their feelings, stop creating tension in their bodies, and experience pain and fear as energy.

I work with a talk and touch based somatic teaching modality called the Grinberg Method®. I am also trained as a therapist and draw guidance from models such as Internal Family Systems, Focusing, and various trauma models such as Polyvagal Theory and the Neurosequential Model. However, the work I am offering here is not therapy but rather somatic teaching.

The Grinberg Method

The Grinberg Method is a structured way of learning through the body. It is based on the understanding that suffering, limitation, and self-defeating habits are held physically, in posture, tension, and automatic reactions, and that the body itself can reveal what needs to change.

What I teach:

Body Attention: cultivating the ability to feel and perceive through the body, rather than only interpreting with the mind.

Stopping Patterns: learning to recognize and stop automatic patterns that create suffering or limit growth.

Fear and Pain: approaching these experiences directly, without avoidance or resistance, so their energy can be released and reintegrated.

Letting the Body Work: trusting the body’s inherent capacity to heal and reorganize itself when given the opportunity to do so.

Silence & Relaxation: quieting the mind and accessing deep states of rest, which make it possible to meet fear and pain from a new angle.

Personal Responsibility: finding the willingness to commit to your own wellbeing, to learn from your body, to dare to become. The practitioner creates conditions for learning, but true, powerful change depends on your participation.

Bodywork session
60 mins @ $75-$100

This option is for people who have a physical pain they would like relief in by getting to know how their reactions to their pain is prolonging the pain. We work hands-on to teach you how to let go of resistance to pain and feel the pain so that the body can heal itself.

Examples: Migraines, chronic tension, back pain, neck stiffness, indigestion, fatigue

Personal Process on general well-being and fulfillment

Assessment session: 80 mins @ $85-$120

Standard session: 60 mins @ $75-100

This option is for people who are aware of how patterns they’re maintaining are preventing them from experiencing life fully. We define the pattern and the aim of the process in the assessment and work through the body to unlearn the pattern, allow emotional experience, and maintain attention in the body rather than thoughts.

Examples: confidence, intimacy, connection with self, creativity, organization, self-expression, pleasure, relaxation, silence etc

Learn how to listen to yourself through guided somatic practice and reflective listening to understand your feelings and trust your inner knowing.
