Hi, I’m Dylan. Welcome to my website. I am a somatic practitioner and former therapist trained in the Grinberg Method. I use a rare combination of talk and touch to accompany people through a process of gaining mindbody awareness and letting go of limiting patterns that leads to long-lasting change in the direction of self-trust and confidence. Why work with me

The problems you face won’t be solved through verbalizing, rationalizing, analyzing, finding a quick fix, moving to a new place, breaking up with your partner or getting a better job.

The problems you face are patterns wired in your nervous system that once helped you stay safe but are no longer needed. You don’t need saving and there’s nothing wrong with you. You need support identifying the patterns that hold you back and an embodied process of increasing your energy and attention in order to move through what scares you. Just talking about it won’t get you there.

I am trained in seeing these patterns and helping you become conscious of them through the body and mind. In the process of becoming conscious and increasing your level of energy and attention you gain the ability to unlearn the patterns that keep you stuck. All of this happens through somatic awareness, the mind is on board but not in control.

With my training as a Grinberg Method practitioner and psychotherapist I offer a rare combination of talk and touch to help you:

Return To Self: A 10-week somatic program of change

Outcomes:

  • Building confidence through embodied experience

What’s included:

  • Initial 90-minute in-person Somatic Mapping Session using talk and touch to identify focus of process

  • 9 60-minute sessions teaching individualized lessons through the body to attain silence, relaxation, transforming pain, and stopping self-destructive patterns (online and in-person offered)

  • Personalized voice notes and feedback

  • Personalized somatic tools for self-help

  • Accompaniment through a process of transformation

Cost:

This program is valued at $1,500.

If you can pay the full value, I strongly encourage that as an act of respect to your own healing journey.

If not, I offer a sliding scaling of $1,000-1,500

Payment plans are available.

Somatic Bodywork Session

For those who can’t commit to a process, you can gain emotional awareness and release through one 90-minute session.

In one session we can relieve physical pain, transform emotional pain, increase levels of silence and relaxation, and expand breath depending on what is needed.

Cost: This session is valued at $200. If you cannot afford this, I offer a sliding scale of $120-200.

Online Somatic Coaching

For those who live further afield I can support you getting in touch with emotional experience through guided somatic exercises and pattern exploration in 60-minute zoom sessions. We can meet regularly or as needed.

Cost: These sessions are valued at $100. I offer a sliding scale of $65-100.

Pain and fear workshops

I occasionally offer group experiences to learn about and befriend pain and fear together. If you’re interested in these, please reach out. The more interest, the more I will offer.
